Overview

What is 3/4″ Minus Base Gravel?

"Minus" means the gravel contains every size from 3/4″ down to fine dust. When it is wetted and compacted, the small particles fill the gaps between larger stones and the whole layer locks into a dense, firm base.

That is exactly what you want under driveways, patios, walkways, sheds and concrete slabs. It sheds water across its surface rather than draining through, so grade it to slope away from structures.
