#4 Crushed Stone: Uses, Coverage & Calculator
Large, heavy-duty crushed stone for the bottom layer of driveways, construction entrances and serious drainage.

What is #4 Crushed Stone?
#4 is one of the largest common crushed stone sizes, with pieces roughly 1½″ to 2½″. Its size and weight make it hard to push around, so it holds up under heavy trucks and equipment.
Large voids between stones move water quickly, which suits soft or wet ground. It is usually covered with a smaller stone to create a smooth driving surface.
