Overview

What is Utility Sand?

Utility sand is a general-purpose sand that is coarser than mason sand and usually not washed to the same standard. It is an economical choice when appearance does not matter.

Contractors use it to bed water and sewer lines, backfill trenches, level ground and as a setting layer under pavers. It is not intended for sandboxes.
